Cernobbio
La segnaletica contiene informazioni su uno dei due percorsi realizzati a Cernobbio nell’ambito del progetto Camminacittà (www.camminacitta.it)
A collaboration between Damiano Riva, junior designer, Magutdesign and Associazione Lavoro e Integrazione made it possible to develop a research project for the design of a signalling pathway "facilitating" in Cernobbio.
The signage contains info on one of two paths made in Cernobbio with the project www.camminacitta.it
«... a special, creative signage acilitating the Camminacittà paths but usable in all paths, including the via Francigena. Signs designed for everyone, and therefore also for the blind, in order to include as many as possible in the discovery of the beauty of the walk ....»
Marker objects were created by applying the principles of low cost and of re-use of materials: old piles of road signs were coated with a vinyl film printed with a texture pattern inspired by a typical sign of the place: the liberty-style pier on the Como lake.
The path informations are contained either in aluminium plaques mounted on stakes, readable also by the blind, either in QR codes that link to downloadable audio files from the web site.
We finally thought very simple and sturdy objects, against vandalic acts.
